 SPECIAL EVENTS, TEMPORARY

 USE PERMITS, ENCROACHMENT PERMITS, AND

 EXCAVATION PERMITS – 

 MUNICIPAL CODE TEXT AMENDMENT 11-03 

 (MCTA 11-03)

 County of Los Angeles,

On November 27, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. or thereafter, at Sierra Madre City Hall, located at 
232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre CA, 91024, the Sierra Madre City Council will 
conduct a public hearing to consider whether to adopt an ordinance adding Chapter 12.34 
to the Municipal Code to regulate special events occurring on public property; and revising 
Chapter 17.88 relating to temporary use permits, Chapter 12.12 relating to encroachment 
permits, and Chapter 12.16 relating to excavation permits. The proposed amendments will 
directly or indirectly affect all property within the city.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: 

The project qualifies for a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Exemption 
pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) (Review for Exemption) of CEQA, as there is no possibility 
that the proposed Ordinance would have a significant impact on the environment.
