Garfield Avenue, Room S249 (Council Chamber, 2nd Floor) PUSD Seeks Applicants For Vacant Seats On Measure TT Citizens Oversight Committee The Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) Board of Education seeks applicants to fill five (5) vacant seats on its Measure TT Citizens Oversight Committee. The volunteer committee is responsible for monitoring project management and expenditures for the $350 million local school facilities bond passed by voters in November 2008. State law requires that the members of the Citizens Oversight Committee include parents, representatives from the business community, senior citizen groups, taxpayer organizations, and individuals experienced in finance and construction. Applicants must complete an application and provide a resume. The application and resume must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 6, 2018. The public is encouraged to attend meetings to provide input about the most important qualities that potential candidates should have. The executive search firm of Teri Black & Company, LLC. will facilitate the executive search and public meetings. “Public input is crucial to selecting the best individual to lead the Department. I encourage all community stakeholders to attend the upcoming forum(s) and share their thoughts on the characteristics and professional background they feel are most important when selecting a new Chief,” states Mermell.
