REMEMBRANCE


ANITA ANNAS SWIFT

Anita Annas Swift, 86, was born in Sierra Madre in 
1932 to Karl and Ida Annas. Anita attended Sierra 
Madre Elementary, Wilson Junior High, Pasadena 
City College, and then met her husband, George Swift, 
at Up-land College. 

After serving together for 45 years in pastoral ministry, 
Anita and George retired and moved into her family's 
home on Victoria Lane, Sierra Madre. 

Anita is survived by her husband George, son Carl, 
daughter Ruth, daughter Ida Mae, son John, 11 
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and sister 
Trudy Kruse. Anita is remembered by her fami-ly and 
friends as a caring and encouraging person, with ready 
hands and a generous heart for anyone in need. Anita 
was a prayer warrior and lived her life for Jesus. 

On Friday, July 12, 2019, Anita went to be with her Lord in heaven. A memorial service in 
celebration of Anita's life will be held on Saturday, August 10, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at 
Packard Hall, Westminster Gardens, 1420 Santo Domingo, Duarte. In lieu of flowers, donations 
may be made toTerraMica.org in her honor.
