SIERRA MADRE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The mission of the Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce
is to encourage a healthy business environment by
advancing, promoting, and supporting the businesses
serving our Sierra Madre community.

We are the business voice of Sierra Madre at City Hall
and represent your interests in all other local, state and
federal agencies. We closely monitor laws and actions
that will impact your business. And we do this, even
during times of crisis.

In 2020/2021, we helped the city develop the Cares
Program which provided some financial relief for
qualified Sierra Madre Businesses. We also played
an instrumental role in helping the city develop the
expanded outdoor dining areas for our members.

In 2021 we also managed to have our Honors/Citizen
of the Year Dinner thanking community volunteers and
organizations who, in 2020 helped the community and
your business through the pandemic.

And, in an effort to get back to ‘normal’ we held a very
successful Winter Festival (Small Business Saturday
event), to bring residents and visitors to town to support
you.

Although postponed due to the Omnicom Variant,
we have postponed our 2021 Honors Dinner, but it will
happen soon. AND

On March 27, 2022 we will once again have our Wistaria
Festival which brings thousands of people into town
to partake of the wonderful shopping and service
opportunities in town!

Also in 2022, we will be working on a new branding
campaign, ‘Shop Sierra Madre’ to bring shoppers remind/introduce all residents and even more visitors to our city.

Virtual networking opportunities and informational meetings are also on our agenda!

We do all this and much more, promoting Sierra Madre as a ‘Destination’ as our goal! Whenever the "Chamber" does something, the community sees it as local
businesses supporting the community. So, please join our efforts today! Joining the Sierra Madre Chamber adds you to the list of the most highly esteemed, trustworthy
and credible businesses in the Community. Please visit our website at: www.sierramadrechamber.com.

SIERRA MADRE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

The Sierra Madre Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our beloved city so that it continues to be a unique hillside treasure
and valued neighborhood for individuals, families, community groups and businesses.

We do this by making direct financial grants to support Sierra Madre activities, events, organizations and programs.

In 2023, the Sierra Madre Community Foundation awarded nearly $21,000 in grants. This amount supported 11
local civic and community organizations including:

• Sierra Madre Public Library

• Creative Arts Group

• Sierra Madre Search & Rescue

• Sierra Madre Elementary School

• Mt. Wilson Trail Race Kids’ Fun Run

• Sierra Madre Rose Float Association

• Cancer Support Community

• Various City-Managed Community Events

We also assist other local community groups, who do not have 501(c)(3) non-profit status, collect and distribute their funds.

SIERRA MADRE EVENTS
COMMITTEE

(Formerly the 4th of July
Committee)

Sierra Madre Events Committee – Sierra Madre’s newest
non-profit with a lot of traditional events and activities!

Unveiling the Sierra Madre Events Committee (SMEC),
formerly known as the Sierra Madre 4th of July
Committee—a dynamic force committed to enlightening
and engaging our community. Our primary goal is to
produce and support patriotic and community events
that support the vibrant spirit of Sierra Madre and foster
a sense of community among its residents and businesses.

As a beacon of civic pride and celebration, the SMEC
strives to bring the community together through a variety
of engaging activities and gatherings. From patriotic
celebrations like the stand-out Sierra Madre 4th of July to local festive things like the downtown Holiday Display, that showcase the rich tapestry of Sierra Madre, we curate
events that celebrate the unique identity of our community.

But we can't do it alone. We're on a mission to educate those who may not be familiar with our organization, inviting them to join us in making a lasting impact on the
community and the true spirit of volunteering that makes Sierra Madre so special. Whether you're a lifelong resident or new to Sierra Madre, there's a place for you in our
vibrant community of volunteers.

By becoming a part of the SMEC, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the planning and execution of events that shape the cultural fabric of Sierra Madre. Whether
you have a passion for event coordination, community outreach, or simply want to lend a helping hand, your involvement is vital to our success.

Your donations during our fundraising campaigns also play a crucial role in ensuring the success and sustainability of our activities. Visit our website https://www.
