LISA SMITH HONORED
Ms. Lisa Smith received a Community Service Award from the Duarte Kiwanis Club at a
recent Installation Dinner. Ms. Smith is the faculty advisor for the DHS Key Club. Ms Smith is
always and immediately available to the club members, as a group or individually, to help and
encourage them with their many endeavors. She very proactive and persistent in aiding the
club officers with cutting through the red tape and school required paperwork. The Key Club
members shared examples of her support including:
· provides guidance with problem solving
· Warm kind hearted
· She inspires us
· Provides a safe space for the Key Club members to go to her with issues
