The following represents a summary report of some of the major incidents handled by the
Sierra Madre Police Department during this period. This list is not intended to be considered
exclusive or all-inclusive.
Wednesday, April 16 Battery
At approximately 6:45 PM, officers responded to the 80 block of E Alegria Ave regarding
a domestic violence call in progress. Based on the officers investigation, a male and female
who are married and living together were engaged in a verbal argument which turned
physical. Both of the children were present during the altercation. The male was arrested
for spousal battery and was transported to Pasadena Jail. This case has been forwarded to
the LA County District Attorney’s office for filing considerations.
