CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY TO HOST 36TH 
ANNUAL ANGEL GALA “WHERE HOPE BLOOMS” AT 
THE LANGHAM PASADENA 

PASADENA, Calif. — Cancer Support Community Greater 
San Gabriel Valley (CSC) will host its 36th Annual Angel 
Gala, themed “Where Hope Blooms,” on Saturday, April 18 at 
The Langham Huntington Pasadena. The annual event brings 
together community leaders, healthcare partners, and supporters to raise critical funds for free programs serving 
individuals and families impacted by cancer. 


Emceed by Rachel Brown of ABC7 News, the evening will feature a VIP Reception, Awards Dinner and Program, 
Live and Silent Auctions, Raffle, and Live Music and Dancing. 

2026 Angel Gala Honorees 

This year’s gala will honor community leaders whose generosity and leadership support CSC’s mission: 

Lifetime Achievement Honorees: Ellen and Harvey Knell 
Individual Honorees: LeeAnn and Ron Havner of JCS Family Foundation 
Corporate Partner Honoree: Flewelling & MoodyHospital Partner Honoree: Huntington Health 

“Huntington Hospital has partnered with Cancer Support Community for decades because we believe in caring 
for the whole person, not just the disease,” said Cathi Chadwell of Huntington Hospital. “CSC complements 
medical care with the emotional and practical support patients and families need.” 

“Cancer can be overwhelming, and what makes Cancer Support Community so extraordinary is the comfort 
and sense of belonging it offers outside of a clinical setting,” said Ellen and Harvey Knell. 

“Nearly everyone has been touched by cancer, and Cancer Support Community ensures no one has to face it 
alone,” said LeeAnn and Ron Havner. 

“Flewelling & Moody believes strongly in giving back to the community that supports us,” said Scott Gaudineer 
of Flewelling & Moody. “We’re proud to support an organization that helps neighbors navigate one of life’s most 
difficult moments.”

and practical realities patients and families face every day,” said Patricia Ostiller, J.D., CFRE, Chief Executive 
Officer. “The Angel Gala raises critical funds and celebrates the partners and advocates who help make our 
work possible.”

CHASE BANK DONATION TO 
ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF ARCADIA 

Chase Bank employees across multiple southern California branchesdonated approximately 700 books to the Assistance League of Arcadia(ALA). ALA has worked collaboratively with Chase Bank for the pastfourteen years with this annual book drive. The books were collected at 
the Huntington Drive/First Avenue location in the City of Arcadia andwill be distributed to students in many school districts in the West SanGabriel Valley through Operation School Bell® .

mead, San Gabriel, and Temple City, Assistance League of Arcadia transforms
