CAT OF THE WEEK

BOBBY IS THE
BESTEST!

 My name is Bobby. I’m
young and a soft buff color.
I’m also well behaved, love
to cuddle, and love to be pet.
I’m 11 months old. I can be
adopted by myself, or with
my mom, Foxie, or my step-sister, Sammie, or with another
kitty! I hope I find a forever home purr-ty soon!

Please call the nice lady who is taking care of me, at 626-
991-6619. You can see more pictures of me at www.
lifelineforpets.org, the More Cats page. I can’t wait to meet
my future forever humans!

Good news: Tucker has been adopted!

Pet of the Week

"Hi, I'm Amanda! Hey, are you listening? Or did you get lost in
my eyes? It's OK, that's been happening a lot lately! I'm definitely a
head turner, and on more than one occasion I've noticed volunteers
stopping mid-walk and coming over to the glass to see me, as if
hypnotized by my eyes. That volunteer with the camera was just
here the other day, waving her fingers at me while I stared at her.
I'm magnetic! And why wouldn't you want a cat that everyone
loves? People will be coming by from far and wide to get a glimpse
of me! You'll make so many new friends! But even if that's not true,
and we live a quiet life without people lined up at the door to see
me, I'LL be your friend. And I think that's pretty great!"

The adoption fee for cats is $90. All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated
before being adopted.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals,
as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

View photos of adoptable pets at pasadenahumane.org. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or
email.

***Magic appeared and transformed some of our cats and kittens into your favorite Harry Pawter
characters. Look for the special kennel cards to identify who is part of this mystical transformation.
While under the spell these cats adoptions are free. Don’t wait, for the spell will disapparate on
Sunday, July 28. All other cats and kittens are available for a reduced adoption fee of $25 during this
promotion.

LOOKING FOR A BEST

Grayson is a sensational 2-year old male cat
with striking silken blue fur and cool kiwi
green eyes ready to take over your house
and your life with his joyful personality.
Grayson is a staff and volunteer favorite
who carries on conversations with all visitors
inviting them over to meet him. He
comes forward to front of his condo frequently
reaching out to shake hands in
greeting. Once the door is open he has been
known to leap into welcoming arms. Grayson
enjoys his head being rubbed, back
massages and quality play time with toys,
flying feathers and racing laser dots. If you would like Grayson to be a part of your family,
come talk to him and see what he has to say about it. Adoption fee is $99, which includes
neuter surgery, microchip, first vaccinations and a free wellness check-up at a participating
veterinarian.

Wildlife Safety Workshop

Visual presentation
by the Pasadena
Humane Society

 WEDNESDAY, AUGUST
14 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30
p.m. South Pasadena Library
Community Room 1115
El Centro. South Pasadena
communities are teeming
with native wildlife. Years
of drought and warmer
weather have caused wild
animals, like coyotes, to
venture further into our
communities in search of
food, water and shelter. Join
Pasadena Humane Society
& SPCA’s Lauren Hamlet
(Wildlife Manager) for a
presentation on coexisting
with urban wildlife. Topics
will include how to make
your property uninviting to
wildlife, keeping your pets
safe, and hazing techniques
to use if you encounter a
coyote.
