CAT OF THE WEEK

MOLLY IS STILL WAITING!

This orange tabby girl, age 2, is
active, curious, and playful. She is happy and very friendly, too, especially if she is allowed to rule
the roost, or maybe run her own country! She is lovey-dovey on her terms, and welcomes head and
neck scratches! She’s been waiting a long time, so let’s get this deserving girl a forever home with
adults only, where she can really blossom. Call to arrange a Meet & Greet, 626-449-1717 and see the
adoption application at our website, www.lifelineforpets.org. See more pictures of Molly and her
video at our Adult Cats page.

Pet of the Week

Have you ever been told you have youthful
energy? Marlene can relate! Although she’s
four years old, she looks and acts like a
puppy. Marlene loves to play, and can turn
any activity into a game. She would do great
with a person who has as much exuberance
and energy as she does, and doesn’t mind
her occasionally having the zoomies! After
all, aren’t zoomies a sign of a life well-lived?
If you’d love to make friends with a happy,
lively pup, stop by and get to know Marlene.

The adoption fee for dogs is $140. All dogs
are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and
vaccinated before going to their new home.

New adopters will receive a complimentary
health-and-wellness exam from VCA
Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag
filled with information about how to care
for your pet.

View photos of adoptable pets at
pasadenahumane.org. Adoption hours are
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday.

Pets may not be available for adoption and
cannot be held for potential adopters by
phone calls or email.

LOOKING FOR A BEST FRIEND?

LUGNUT is a five-year old majestic
Cane Corso mix pup with a gorgeous raven
coat and soulful hazel eyes. Weighing about
99 pounds, this big and strong handsome
fellow may appear imposing but he has a
gentle soul. Lugnut is a special dog who has
survived an unkind past. He is a survivor
and a resilient pup willing to learn to trust
people. With some patience and TLC, he
is learning about toys, basic commands,
and to trust humans for affection, gentle
strokes and ear scratches. Check him out
in this sweet video - https://youtu.be/
nBTxI_8iDF0. Lugnut does well on a leash
and would benefit from daily structured
walks. He deserves a loving, committed,
and patient family who can earn his trust.
In return, his family would receive his
loyalty and appreciation. His adoption fee is $145, which includes neuter surgery, microchip, first
vaccinations and a free wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian.
