cated within an historic district or containing an historic property (on a state or local register); or located in an environmentallysensitive area, such as earthquake faultzones or very high fire hazard severity zone, unless the City has adopted mitigationmeasures required by existing building standards. 
AB 803 amends the Subdivision Map Act to authorize developers to apply to build a “small home lot development.” In these 
developments,a singleparcelinamulti-familyzonewouldbesubdividedpursuanttoa tentativeandfinal tractmap.Theresult-
ing “small home lot development” would consist of single-family homes on parcels owned in fee simple.
