WINE, WOMEN & WEALTH EVENT

January 11th at Jade’s Fashion in South Pasadena

Wine, Women, and Wealth is a nationwide community of women
led by many top female producers at Five Rings Financial. The goal
is guiding women to financial success through education, support
and mentoring. These lively events are being hosted across the
country to connect with women who desire to take charge of
their financial future, expand their knowledge, and build their
confidence regarding money and wealth.

Amazing things happen when women team up – especially when
you add fine wine to the mix. Whether you’re at the end of your
rope or the top of the corporate ladder, there is always more to
learn about how you can make your money work for you.

This local event is co-hosted by Kayleigh Smith. We encourage
you to attend in order to meet some of the amazing women in
our community. Don’t forget to bring lots of business cards! For
FREE registration and a full calendar of upcoming events, view
the calendar at Eventbrite.co (Type in “Wine, Women and Wealth,

SIERRA MADRE CHRISTMAS
TREE RECYCLING AND HOLIDAY
TRASH SCHEDULE

SIERRA MADRE POLICE BLOTTER

Athens Services will once again collect Christmas trees after the
holidays for recycling. Trees
will be collected on your
normal pickup day beginning
on December 26th and until
the end of the second week in
January.

Please remove stands,
ornaments, lights and tinsel.
Place trees next to your regular
trash containers. Trees over
6 feet in length must be cut in
half. Trees with flocking or fire
retardants are acceptable.

If you miss the regular tree collection period, please make
arrangements to have Athens collect your tree as part of their bulky
item pickup program by calling 888-336-6100.

Residents should also be aware that holiday collection days this year
will not be delayed by the usual single day due to the Christmas
Holiday and New Year’s Day Holiday landing on Sundays.

During this time period, the Sierra Madre Police Department
responded to approximately 2 04 day and night time calls for service.

Monday, December 26

At about 10:58 a.m. a report of vandalism was investigated in the 300

Tuesday, December 27

SMPD received a report of a hit and run in the parking lot in the
Montecito Parking lot. At approximately 3:30 p.m. a witness reported
that a moving vehicle had struck a parked vehicle, causing damage
to the rear bumper and left the scene without stopping to leave the
proper identification. This case forwarded to Detectives 6:57 p.m.
Officers responded to a welfare check of a possibly intoxicated person
at the intersection of Santa Anita and Arno. The officers determined
that an injured male was pulled out of the Lannan Debris basin by
two friends. Sierra Madre Fire responded, treated and transported
the male to a local hospital for further treatment.
