Free on-air publicity for local events 
Sierra Madre’s EMERGENCY radio station is now accepting scripts 
for Public Service Announcements (PSAs) about community events. 
PSAs will be broadcast on the air at no charge. The station operates 
24/7 and can be heard at 1630 on the AM dial. 
Any local non-profit or non-commercial organization can have their 
event information broadcast to the public on Sierra Madre Community 
Information Radio. The station covers the city of Sierra Madre, plus 
surrounding areas of Pasadena, Arcadia, and Monrovia. 
Your event must: 
• 
Benefit a non-commercial or non-profit entity 
• 
Be open to the public 
• 
Be of general interest to local citizens 
Just write a Public Service Announcement that describes your event 
and e-mail it to radio@cityofsierramadre.com.

During this time period, the Sierra Madre Police Departmentresponded to approximately 264 day and night time calls for service. 
Wednesday, November 15 At about 12:19 p.m. officers respondedto the 300 block of San Gabriel Court regarding a victim of aself-inflicted gunshot. Paramedics from the Sierra Madre FireDepartment pronounced the victim dead at 12:29 p.m. The LosAngeles County Coroner’s Office was contacted and responded toinvestigate the incident and took custody of the body. The firearmwas recovered and booked as evidence. Case to Detectives 
1:58 p.m. A man came into the PD lobby to report a theft of fundsfrom his checking account, using his debt card number. A totalof three fraudulent purchases were made totaling $90.76. Case to 
Detectives 
Thursday, November 16 SMPD officers were flagged down at about2:00 p.m. by a St Rita church staff member. The church memberadvised that a female known to the area was shaking the gate andwanted to enter school grounds. Officers made contact with thesubject and determined that she was a danger to herself and others.
The subject was transported to Arcadia Methodist for a 72 hourmental evaluation. 9:50 p.m. Officers responded to a call of a batteryin the 400 block of E. Laurel Ave. Both parties wanted a privateperson’s arrest. Following a warrants check, one of the parties wasarrested and transported to the Pasadena PD jail. Both parties were 
cited for the battery. 
Friday, November 17 A non-injury traffic accident occurred in the100 block of Olivera Lane at about 9:00 a.m. A trash truck apparentlyran into a fire hydrant and left the area. 
7:00 p.m. A resident of an apartment complex in the 400 block ofN. Baldwin reported that a collective mail box was broken into andmail was taken.
