Warts and All, the United States of America is the best place in the world to live.
DESPITE all recent efforts to destroy its’ foundation - to destroy that common threadthat we should all have between us, our love of country. That is not just my opinion, it
is a fact.

However, this year, while yet dealing with the aftermath of 2020, we are findingthat beyond the Presidency that was knocked off its’ pedestal by ‘45’, we find that theinstitution we ultimately believed was above politics, was not. We just witnessed the
confirmed worst session of the Supreme Court in its history. And its’ behavior has just
added fuel to the fire that continues divides us. Unfortunately, we also discovered very
clearly, that our democracy is in a lot of trouble.

Yet, there have been a few glimmers of hope for us. One glimmer that you know about,
unless you’ve had your head stuck in the sand, was hearing a 25 year old young womando what so many in positions of power above her would not and she did it, no doubt with
the knowledge that there would be unpleasant consequences. She refused to hide the
truth of some of the events that took place on January 6th.

Another glimmer of hope happened a few days ago and while I do not agree witheverything this woman said, I am going to yield this platform to Congresswoman LizCheney who spoke earlier in the week at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Most of
what she said needs to be considered by all of us, after all, we are all in this together. So, forthis celebratory edition of the Mountain Views News, I yield the floor to the RepublicanCongresswoman from Wyoming. Please read, consider and share her primary message.
