On November 8, 2022, voters in Sierra Madre will go to thepolls and select three people from a field of five to sit on the
City Council. They will also vote on Measure HR (HillsideResidential) a citizens initiative to stop The Meadows at BaileyCanyon project. The Mountain Views News will provide ourreaders with comprehensive coverage of this election. As we have
done in the past, we have profiled the candidates and given the
opportunity to introduce themselves to our readers.
This week the paper will also review the pros and cons of Measure HR. Next week we will review the
county and statewide measures and candidates for the State Assembly and Senate and the US House ofRepresentatives and US Senate. The remaining schedule will be as follows:
