ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: 

The project, Ordinance No. 1486, qualifies for an exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act review pursuant to Title 14, Section 15061(b)(3) of the 
California Code of Regulations as it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility the adoption of the Ordinance may have a significant effect on the environment, 
because it will enforce the California Building Standards Code (Title 24 California Code of Regulations) that serve as the basis for the design and construction 
of buildings in California to improve safety, sustainability, maintaining consistency, new technology and construction methods, and reliability. The project, Ordinance 
No. 1487, qualifies for an exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act review pursuant to Title 14, Section 15061(b)(3) of the California Code 
of Regulations as it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility the adoption of this Ordinance may have a significant effect on the environment, because it 
will enforce the 2025 California Fire Code and 2025 California Wildland Urban Interface Code in compliance with State requirements. 

APPEAL: If in the future anyone wishes to challenge the decision of the City Council in court, one may be limited to raising the issues that were raised or presented 
in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or before, the scheduled public hearing.
