PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Subject: Public Hearing: Conclusion of Proposition 

 218 Process for Water and Sewer Rate 

 Adjustments



Notice is hereby given that on December 12, 2023, at 6:30 PM, or soon 
thereafter, the Sierra Madre City Council will conduct a Public Hearing 
to hear testimony on the Conclusion of the Proposition 218 Process for 
Water and Sewer Rate Adjustments.

The City began Proposition 218 proceedings on September 26, 2023. The 
City Council has set December 12, 2023 at 6:30 pm as the day and time 
for the public tabulation of protests. 

The tabulation will be conducted at Sierra Madre City Hall Council 
Chambers, located at 232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre, CA 91024. 

The City Council has also set December 12, 2023 at 6:30 pm as the day 
and time for the Public Hearing as required by Proposition 218. 

The Public Hearing will be held in Sierra Madre City Hall Council 
Chambers, located at 232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre, CA 91024.

St. Rita's Scout Troop 110 assisted snow lovers in Memorial Park, where the snow fell 
again this year just in time for Small Business Saturday! 


The anticipated snow fall landed in Sierra Madre 
once again! On Saturday, Sierra Madre was transformed 
into a magical Winter Village complete 
with Snow and tons of visitors to celebrate the holidays 
and Shop Small Business Saturday. 

The event is sponsored annually by the Chamber 
of Commerce and brings residents and visitors 
alike out to our shops and restaurants and showcases 
many of our local organizations. Fun and 
shopping were the themes for the day which also 
included Santa coming to town and the lighting of 
the Christmas Tree.
