* * * * *

Independent label Trough Records presents nine of its
best acts live:

Tim Tedrow & Terry Vreeland: Music from the true Folk
Heritage. Clean, sweet harmonies and songs of love, struggle,
peace and social justice.

Lisa Johnson: Johnson’s sometimes haunting, sometimes
raw, sometimes tender and always emotionally honest music is
as compelling as it is listenable.

Paul Zollo: A true Renaissance man of popular music.
Zollo has written critically acclaimed books on pop icons,
become known as a serious photographer, and has written some
seriously great songs.

Rod Smear: One of L.A.’s most respected performing
songwriters. Smear’s enigmatic lyrics, catchy melodies and
mind-blowing delivery are legendary---for good reason.

Mark Humphreys: An explorer of the frailties and treasures
living in the human soul. Humphreys’ songs speak of the grand
adventure found in everyday life.

Phil Ward: An authentic comic mastermind, Ward also
happens to be a phenomenal songwriter. This is some of the
weirdest, funniest stuff you’ll ever hear from a folk singer---or
anybody, period.

 Andrew Lorand: Intelligent, hilarious, compelling,
heartbreaking---sometimes all within one song--- Andrew
Lorand’s songs have been praised (and recorded by) some of
his most talented peers, which is the greatest compliment any
songwriter can be paid.

Piper-Grey: Two unique songwriting talents bring their
diverse styles together in a one-of-a-kind sound.

Dave Morrison: Songs of longing, love, the quest for home
and the meaning of freedom. Morrison writes some of the most
compelling musical tales ever told.
