Happy Father’s Day

HAVE YOU SEEN HER?

Here are few of my choices to spend the day
with the most important man in your life, your
Father.

How about a trip down to the coast?

Father’s Day Brunch- The First Cabin
Restaurant-at the Balboa Bay Club is a great
option. Starts at 10:00am and goes to 2:30pm.
The morning will begin with a glass of Mimosa
or fresh Orange Juice. You will enjoy a Three-
Course Brunch—including a selection of four
appetizers, seven entrees, and two desserts.
The appetizer choices include: BBC Classic
Maine Lobster Bisque, Seafood Melange, Duet
of Classic Caesar Salad and Beef Carpaccio, or
Tossed Belgium Endive with roasted pecans,
cranberries and Maytag blue cheese dressing.
The Entrée choices include: Petit Rack of
Lamb, Shrimp & Scallops Omelet, a Trio of
Poached Egg Benedict/Cheese Blintz/Chicken
Apple Sausage, Ultimate French Toast, Crab
Crusted Atlantic Salmon or Local Sea Bass,
or Seared Petit Filet Mignon. The two dessert
choices are: Baked Grand Marnier Bread
Pudding “a la Mode” or Chilled Martini of
Mango and Raspberry Sorbet with California
berries.

Price: $49.00* for adults and for children 4-12
years $24.50* (*Note: Prices do not include
tax and gratuity.) Dinner will also available at
The First Cabin Restaurant from 5:00pm to
9:00pm.

For Reservations: To make your reservations,
please call 949-630-4145 or visit our web
site for details on all the menus. The web site
address is: www.balboabayclub.com .

A Little Closer To Home:

I recommend the Central Park Café on S. Fair
Oaks.

Something different you ask? Well, I have
been very impressed with the new Kings Row
Gastro Pub on 20E. Colorado Blvd. even
though I have only dined there once, my
first impression was very favorable!!!Many
wines and imported beers, many I have never
heard of, but that adds to the fun. Dad will
love the beer and the brunch includes all of
his favorites like Chicken and Waffles($12),
Biscuits and gravy and an above average Dry
Aged Burger($9), I have been complaining
about the Fish and Chips($14) in the Pasadena
area, but give these a try, they use a IPA beer
Batter, now that’s unique. (626) 793-3010

Remember my Golden Rule, For truly great
time, try not to be in a hurry, the restaurants
listed
above will
no doubt
be busy, if
you can do
it on the
Saturday
afternoon
before,
that might
be the best
call of all.
Tell them
Peter sent
you!!
