FAFSA that day. Spanish speaking volunteers will be available.

The CASH FOR COLLEGE WORKSHOPS are geared toward
current high school seniors but are open to all students who
will be entering college in the Fall of 2013 or anytime during
the 2013 – 2014 school year. In addition, at least ONE 12th grade
student who attends our workshop and completes an online
evaluation form; submits their FAFSA and CAL GRANT GPA
form by the March 2nd deadline will win a $1000 scholarship.
Every 12th grade student who successfully completes these
things will be eligible.

This is an amazing movie.
Not only is the story
unbelievable, but the
characters are just so real
and completely wonderful.
It is truly impossibly great.

 Based on a family’s
experience during the
2004 tsunami in Southern
Asia, ‘The Impossible’
takes you on a miraculous
journey, only made
possible by the strength
of the human will. Two
parents (Ewan McGregor,
Naomi Watts) along with
their three sons (Tom
Holland, Samuel Joslin,
Oaklee Pendergast) are on
vacation, when a tsunami
hits. Separated and badly
wounded, they must find each other and make it back home,
while helping others along the way.

I really do love this movie. Even though I had to look
away for some of the hospital parts, I will always remember
this movie for its amazing cast, directing, and overall feeling
of desperation and hope, which has been captured perfectly in
this triumph of the human spirit.
