LOOKING FOR A BEST FRIEND?

So is Sherbert!

HUGEYARDSALEFriday,May9Saturday,May108:00AMto4:00PM33SierraPlaceSierraMadre,CABenefitforAnimazoniaWildlifeFoundation-sanctuaryforrescuedbigcats-
He is a white and cream colored Chihuahua
mix puppy with very large unique ears and an
adorable and expressive face that captures your
heart the moment your eyes meet. He is a little shy
with new people at first, but once you become his
friend, he will want to climb up, snuggle close to
you in your arms or lap and be your loyal forever
friend.

Besides his cuteness, Sherbert is also very
intelligent and would be a very good candidate to
train while he is still young. It has been noticed by
many of the volunteers that he is very observant,
reads people easily, and learns and picks up on
things very quickly. He also enjoys spending time
with other doggies and has had many experiences
walking, running and playing with them. He
would be very happy to have a pal at home or a
social life with neighboring playmates to walk and
hang out with. But his best friend will always be
you!

Sherbert is estimated to be between 7 – 8 months
old and although he has many people and doggy
friends at the shelter, he doesn’t want to be raised
there and really would prefer a permanent family
and home to call his own. If he sounds like the dog
that would fit in your life and family, please come
and meet him.

He currently resides at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society located at 851 E. Grand Avenue in San
Gabriel with his roommate. We are located off San Gabriel Blvd., north of Mission and south of Las
Tunas.

To arrange a ‘Meet and Greet’ with Sherbert (aka….5079), please stop by any time from 10:00am to
4:30pm Tuesday thru Sunday.

His adoption fee is $120 which includes a microchip, neuter surgery, first vaccinations and a free
wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian. Feel free to call us at (626) 286-1159 for more
information on Sherbert.

PET OF THE WEEK: JUSTIN
ANIMAL ID #A4700680
Imagine all of the greatest pet qualities you could
possibly think of all rolled into one dog. That dog
would be Justin! Justin is an awesome 2 ½ year
old brown and white American Bulldog and Boxer
mix, weighing 75 pounds, who believes he is either
a lapdog or a pillowcase full of kisses and happy
fluff. It is an age-old mystery of the universe why
he has not yet found his forever home (perhaps he
likes the anticipation?) but he is truly an amazing
catch. Justin adores other dogs of all sizes, and even
likes to sneak kisses with them every now and then.
Justin also likes cats, so no worries for your felines!
This big lovable boy is also very gentle with young
children, so he would be a great family dog. He is
very intelligent and already knows “sit,” “shake,” and
“down,” even when commanded by multiple people.
This boy does great on walks, loves sharing his toys
with others, and enjoys playing in the water. He
would be a great pet for any family looking for an
A+ companion! To watch a video of Justin showing
off his smarts, please visit the following link: http://

To meet Justin in person, or for more information on this great dog, please contact United
Hope for Animals volunteer, Katja at katja@hope4animals.org or (951)973-2757. He is already
neutered, up-to-date on his shots and ready to go to his forever home. Whoever is lucky enough
to get this guy will hit the puppy jackpot!
