Thursday, October 4, Officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation at about10:05PM, at Mountain Trail and Orange Grove Ave. Following an investigation, the passenger had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. The male subject was arrested and transported to Pasadena Jail for booking, then was later transported to LA County Sheriff’s Department Jail in Downtown Los Angeles. Saturday, October 6 At about 11:50PM, officers responded to a traffic accident that occurred at the corner of Baldwin Ave. and Highland Ave. There were no injuries reported. Sunday, October 7 Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at about 9:32PM in the vicinity of 611 E. Sierra Madre that resulted in the arrest of a person for a DUI. The driver was arrested and transported to the Pasadena Jail for booking. You will hear them tell their stories; from Founding Fathers such as Carter and Richardson, business owners of the Hartman Pharmacy (now Best Buy Drugs) and Hotel Shirley, to mountain men and writers of children’s books! Men and Women who have played an important part in our town’s history will meet you at the entrance and even help to serve you light refreshments at the end of your tour.
