BEST FRIENDS & MORE

Mountain View News Saturday, May 11, 2019

BLINKY & RAVEN

Two sweet
peas in a
pod. Rescued
together, they
are inseparable
little loves.
They will bring
somebody a
lot of joy and
happiness.
Blinky is more
social and loves attention & pets and will follow
you around, while Raven is a tad more shy.
However, lately, he has followed his girlfriend’s
lead, has come out of his shell, wanting to be
pet. Raven also loves to play. Both would be a
little shy to a new home at first, but it is worth
the wait, just watching these two cuties who
grew up as babies, still madly in love with each other. Rescued at a pretty young age, they are now
about 3 . yrs old now. Both have silky fur coats, but Blinky has a little petite body and little legs,
while Raven is a little bigger and normal size. Both have beautiful golden eyes. Call 626-676-9505
and see our adoption procedures at www.lifelineforpets.org.

CAT OF THE WEEK

Betsy is an 8-year old Staffordshire mix girl with a classic
“blue” coat, amber soulful eyes, bouncy ears and signature
happy-go-lucky smile. Weighing forty pounds, this petite girl
is a sweet bundle of puppy love. Although not much is known
about Betsy’s past, it is clear that she did not have a good start
in life. This is a tiny and mighty girl whose resilience keeps
her surviving, thriving, and trusting people. This sweet girl
enjoys walks around the park and is learning the joys of toys
and treats.

If you love piggy but very-lady-like snorts, this is your girl! Betsy deserves a forever loving family
who care for her and show her all the good things in life. Please come by to meet this adorable
petite pup! Her adoption fee is $145, which includes spay surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations
and a free wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian.

Pet of the Week

Sunshine (A475686) is a ray of, well, sunshine! This 5-year-old
beauty tends to stay at the back of her kennel. She’s probably a
little confused about all of the meowing as she was only found
stray in Pasadena a few days ago and brought to Pasadena
Humane. When you pet the top of her head she immediately
melts from reserved to affectionate. She rolls on her side and
back happily, and invites chin scratches and full body pets. She’s
a sweet girl who is more interested in you than she is treats or
toys. She’s looking for a home with affectionate people and a
reprieve from the shelter stay.

The adoption fee for cats is $90. All cats are spayed or neutered,
microchipped, and vaccinated before being adopted.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-
wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody
bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

View photos of adoptable pets at pasadenahumane.org. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls
or email.
