CAT OF THE WEEK
Pretty “P.K.”
P.K. (as in “Pussy Kat”) was rescued
along with her mother and siblings.
She was very shy at first, but has
now blossomed into a very sweet
and loving kitty. She is quite pretty
with her all blue (gray) soft fur. She
is super playful and also likes to be
pet. P.K. would love to be in a home
that has another nice kitty, or we can
advise on which one of our other
cats would make a fun pal for her. See more pictures and adoption
information at www.lifelineforpets.org & click on the Young Cats
page. As with all of our Lifeline cats, they will come already current
on vaccines and health exams, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
We know our cats well and we make sure it’s a win-win match!
Good news: Sammie has been adopted.
Pet of the Week
Everyone here has become enamored of Brownie, and now it’s your
turn! Four-year-old Brownie is a calm, easygoing dog who wants
nothing more than to be loved and pet. His mellow demeanor will
add a relaxing presence to your life, and his adorable brown cow
spots will make you smile. He’s been very well-behaved at our
mobile adoption events, and he absolutely loves all the attention he
gets from strangers. This chill, happy dog can’t wait to meet you!
The adoption fee for dogs is $140. All dogs are spayed or neutered,
microchipped, and vaccinated before going to their new home.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness
exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled
with information about how to care for your pet.
View photos of adoptable pets at pasadenahumane.org. Adoption
hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday
through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for
potential adopters by phone calls or email.
LOOKING FOR A
BEST FRIEND?
Tyson is a 5-year-old dachshund-miniature
pinscher boy. Tyson has the barrel chest and
bowed legs of a weight lifter or boxer with
the classic black and tan markings of a min-
pin. Tyson has a happy, joyful energy and
thoroughly makes the most of his walks with
the volunteers. He is always ready for a good
run, followed by a roll in the grass and a belly
rub. He is social with other dogs and will take
his turn waiting for treats. Tyson is a smart boy
who knows how to sit for treats. He also likes
playing with toys, and can entertain himself.
And once he burns off some of his energy, he
is happy to cuddle in a lap for some attention,
sweetly sharing kisses. The adoption fee for Tyson is $130, which includes neuter surgery,
microchip, first vaccinations and a free wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian.
