Friday, January 28 / Suspicious Circumstances Over the past two weeks, the police de- partment has responded to two residences regarding a distraction-type theft. We wanted to make the community aware of this type of crime where one person will attempt to distract a resident at their front door while a second person gains entry from another location of the residence and steals property from inside the residence. Please be careful and don’t let anyone into your home that you don’t know. If you feel the situation is suspicious, call the police de- partment to have an officer respond to the location.
