SIERRA MADRE SEARCH 
AND RESCUE TEAM 

RECEIVES WELL 

DESERVED GRANT

 SMSR was presented with a donation of $25,000 from Direct Relief, along with 
medical and equipment supplies, in recognition of SMSR's response to the Eaton 
and Palisades Fires.

Direct Relief's Emergency Response Manager Staci Richard delivered the donation, 
which included five medical bags containing diagnostics, infection control 
and PPE equipment, along with a set of 30 Nomex (flame-resistant) shirts and 
pants.

The Team is hugely appreciative of this offering. The donated monies will go directly 
towards equipping the team for our 24/7 emergency response.

Sierra Madre Search and Rescue is an all-volunteer, professional, unpaid non-
profit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations go directly to team training, equipment, 
and supplies.
