Monday, January 27 Theft from Vehicle
At approximately 12:30 PM, officers responded
to the police station lobby regarding a
theft from vehicle report. The victim stated he
left his vehicle unlocked while he went inside the
gym. When he returned to his vehicle, he noticed
his wallet was no longer on his passanger seat. The
reporting party stated there was no sign of forced
entry to his vehicle. This case has been forwarded
to the Detective’s Bureau for further investigation.
Monday, January 27 Grand Theft
At approximately 9:00 PM officers received
an online report regarding a grand theft
that occurred in the 600 block of East Sierra
Madre Blvd. Officers contacted the victim over
the phone and the victim reported her driver’s
license, cash, and credit cards were stolen from
her unlocked vehicle. No suspect(s) were seen or
heard. This case has been forwarded to the Detective’s
Bureau for further investigation.
Tuesday, January 28 DUI/ Alcohol
At approximately 2:30 AM, officers responded to
the 70 block of Esperanza Ave regarding a DUI investigation.
The reporting party stated there was a
possible driver under the influence who hit a sign
at the park and left the car bumper behind. Officers
located the driver. The driver was found to be
impaired and under the influence of an alcoholic
beverage. The driver was arrested and transported
to Pasadena Jail. This case has been forwarded to
the LA County District Attorney’s office for filing
cosiderations.
Tuesday, January 28 Grand Theft
At approximately 1:30 PM officers responded
to the police station lobby regarding a
grand theft report. Victims stated they attempted
to purchase baseball tickets through two different
subjects online using the Facebook application.
The total loss between both subjects was over
$1,000. Officers took a report. This case has been
forwarded to the Detective’s Bureau for further
investigation.
