SIERRA MADRE LITTLE LEAGUE 

CORRECTION PLAYER OF THE WEEK APRIL 4, 2022 


MAJORS SM RED SOX AKIRA T. 

Akira threw only 58 pitches in a complete game 
shutout vs the PALL Marlins this past Saturday. 42 
of the 58 pitches were strikes, he gave up zero walks 
and struck out 7. Akira also went 2-2 leading the Red 
Sox to a 6-0 win

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK APRIL 11, 2022 

T-BALL SM RAYS RANDOLPH “RJ “ 
D

 has been practicing on live pitching and moving 
away from only hitting off of the tee. He 
is picking up new skills fast and building and 
developing skills. RJ has a great attitude and 
works hard! 

T-BALL SM ROCKIES GAGE H. has been a 
dedicated Rockies player, coming to all the practices 
and games. As one of the older Rockies, 
Gage was eager to begin coach pitch and is always 
determined to do more and play all the positions. 
He has hit multiple balls into the outfield and had 
a few big hits during the team’s first coach pitch 
game against the Cardinals on April 9. 


A SM PIRATES . Will H. is one of the friendliest 
players in Single A, and will strike up a conversation 
with anyone on the field. However, he's taken it to the next 
level over the past few weeks, and stood out at the plate and 
on defense in the Pirate's games this past week. Will has 
been focused at first base making several big plays, and has 
impressive opposite field power. He has been a great leader 
all season, and we're looking forward to more big games in 
the second half. 


CHALLENGER AIDAN T. has been batting 
clean up for SM Challenger for several years - consistently 
clearing the bases and bringing his teammates 
home. Towering over the other kids, Aidan's 
intimidating stature is a foil for his kind, playful, 
generous heart. Way to go Aidan! 

MAJORS SM DODGERS WILLIAM G. 

is playing his 6th year with SMLL! Last week vs San 
Marino Dodgers he pitched, played RF and 2B. William 
had 2 hits and a walk, scored 2 runs, and had 
2 RBIs for the SM Dodgers. In his 1st start on the 
mound in Majors, William pitched 2 1/3rd innings 
with 6 strikes outs.
