KIDSPACE MUSEUM KICKS OFF A SUMMER
OF STEAM AT THE WIRED FOR WONDER
MULTISENSORY MAZE WITH NEW EVENING
HOURS

PASADENA, CA (June 3, 2025) – Looking for a curious place to
discover and learn this summer? Kidspace Museum invites families
to explore Wired for Wonder, a one-of-a-kind multisensory maze
launching the Summer of STEAM. Enjoy limited-time admission
offers, extended hours, and immersive evening events, including The
Chill Lab: a flavorful celebration of scientific innovation and frozen
treats.

Art and science collide in Wired for Wonder, a multisensory maze
for families of all ages. Come explore, touch, smell, taste, and
lose yourself in more than 25 art and science exhibits created in
collaboration with international multisensory experts and scientists
from the Getty Conservation Institute. You won’t believe your eyes –
and that’s just for starters!

“Parents have good reason to worry about the infamous ‘summer
slide’ and research that suggests children can lose up to two months
of math and science skills over break,” said Kidspace CEO Lisa
Clements. “But the misconception about summer slide is that it
happens because kids are having fun instead of learning. Educators
understand that active play is actually the engine for learning, because
nothing lights up a child’s brain more than play. We created Wired
for Wonder in collaboration with world-class artists and scientists as
an immersive world where children explore, discover, and learn in a
joyful, hands-on way.”

The Wired for Wonder multisensory maze is located in the Rosemont
Pavilion and accessed through the Kidspace campus. Enjoy a day at
the museum and top it off with a visit to our air-conditioned maze,
featuring sensory science experiments, art installations, a mirrored
infinity room, and a facilitated tasting bar.

Turn summer slide into summer stride with hands on activities that
connect art, neuroscience, and engineering in unforgettable ways at
Wired for Wonder.

SPECIAL LIMITED NIGHTTIME PROGRAM: The Chill Lab, a
flavorful celebration of scientific innovation and frozen treats. Guess
the secret flavors of the black ice cream, experiment with some
surprisingly savory shaved ice, and chomp on a piece of flash-frozen
popcorn to create clouds of vapor from your nose and mouth, dragon
style!

The maze is open almost every day this summer! Weekdays 9:30
am to 4:00 pm and weekends from 10:30 to 5:00 pm with special
nighttime events including The Chill Lab on Fridays and Saturdays
from 5:00 to 8:00 pm starting Friday, June 6.

Daytime Tickets are $10 per person with paid admission to Kidspace.
Your $15 nighttime Wired for Wonder ticket includes access to both
the museum and the maze. Enjoy the full taste experience of The
Chill Lab for an additional $8 per person with your paid admission
to the maze, for a limited time only.
