A resident of the 00 block of Suffolk Avenue returned from a multi-day business trip and discovered
his bicycle missing from his parking garage stall. The owner did not secure or lock the bicycle before
he left on the trip.
Tuesday August 27, 2013
At 10pm, an officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle for an equipment violation. Upon
approaching the driver, the officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his
person and the driver displayed symptoms of intoxication. The driver (male 27 years of age) was
subsequently arrested for DUI.

Between the hours of 10:30am and 1:30pm, unknown suspects attempted to enter a residence in
the 00 block of West Carter Avenue by removing a window screen. The suspect used a pry tool to
remove the screen but could not make entry as the window was locked. There were no other signs
of attempted entry at the other doors and windows.
Overnight, unknown suspects stole a 2002 Honda Accord from a driveway in the 1900 block of
Lilliano Drive. The owner stated he had left the vehicle windows open and a set of key was in the
driver’s door side pocket. The vehicle was found the following day on a street in the City of Azusa.
