THE REEL DEAL: by Ben Show
RIO 2

I was, and
still am, a bigfan of the first
‘Rio’ movie. I
thought the
story was
interesting,
with funnycharacters,
and goodmusic. However,
the best
part were the
amazing vi

suals that accompanied the movie, and luckily, that continuedover to its sequel.

After regaining his ability to fly, and having a family, Blu(Jesse Eisenberg) could not be happier. When he and his wife,
Jewel (Anne Hathaway) decide to take a trip to the Amazon toget out of the house, they discover that they may not be the last oftheir kind.

‘Rio 2’ continued its predecessor’s high standards of both
great visuals and amazing characters. There are less songs thanthe first, but they are just as good. Although it is not the best family
movie ever, it is certainly one of the better ones to come out sofar this year.
