Congratulations to these three outstanding baseball players who hail from, and will represent Sierra
Madre in the upcoming San Gabriel Valley All Star High School Game series. The All Star games are
put together with the top players of all High Schools in the San Gabriel Valley (Over 25 High Schools).
The senior game is scheduled for Mt. San Antonio College at 7 p.m. on June 9th, with the underclassmen
game slated for Alhambra High School at 2 p.m. on June 8.

The seniors' game features Alex Baer of Pasadena HS and Pepperdine bound in fall, while both Frankie
Garriola (junior / 2015) of Pasadena HS and Ryan Garcia (sophomore / 2016) of La Salle HS, round out
the Madre contingent in the underclassman game. These three outstanding players prepared for their
high school careers in the Sierra Madre little league and PONY/COLT systems. Last summer they were
stellar standouts on coach Edgar Garcia's regional, super regional, state champions, and national West
Zone runner up Sierra Madre 16U Colt team, which made headlines and represented Madre and the SGV
well with their breathtaking historic postseason run. Congratulations Alex Baer, Frankie Garriola, and
Ryan Garcia!
