VACANCIES FAST APPROACHING

of the city’s commissions and take a proactive step in preserving our cherished village. 


The deadline to apply to be a Planning Commissioner (2 vacancies) or Energy, Environment and Natural
Resources Commissioner (3 vacancies) is July 9, 2015. Applications can be downloaded from the City’s
website and returned in person to City Hall or emailed to laguilar@cityofsierramadre.com. 
The City is also collecting applications for the following Commissions: 


Community Services - 1 vacancy
Library Board of Trustees - 1 vacancy
Senior Community Commission - 2 vacancies

People gathered Friday night on Lake Ave. at the 210 freeway overpass, near the Metro GoldLine Station to celebrate the long awaited Supreme Court protecting the Constitutional rights 
of same-sex couples. Friday’s rally was organized by All Saints Church, Planned Parenthoodand the Pasadena Pride Center among others.
