NASA TV COVERAGE FOR AUG. 21 SOLAR ECLIPSE 
On Monday, Aug. 21, all of North America willbe treated to an eclipse of the Sun, and NASATelevision will carry it live from coast to coast fromunique vantage points on the ground and fromaircraft and spacecraft, including the InternationalSpace Station. Coverage will be featured during thelive four-hour broadcast Eclipse Across America:
Through the Eyes of NASA. 

Programming begins at 12 noon EDT with apreview show hosted from Charleston, SouthCarolina. The main show begins at 1 p.m. andwill cover the path of totality the eclipse will takeacross the United States, from Oregon to SouthCarolina. The program will feature views fromNASA research aircraft, high-altitude balloons,
satellites and specially-modified telescopes. It alsowill include live reports from Charleston, as well asfrom Salem, Oregon; Idaho Falls, Idaho; Beatrice,
Nebraska; Jefferson City, Missouri; Carbondale, 
Illinois; Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and Clarksville,
Tennessee. 

The Toshiba Vision screen in New York’s Times 
Square will broadcast the program live in its entiretyto give the public a big-screen view of the eclipse.

Why the doctor needs to knowall of those things about me isbeyond my imagination, but I 
must confess that I did stretch 
my imagination in filling out thepaperwork.
