Parking Lot of Oak Knoll. Appointments are limited.

JONATHON HAWES NEW BETHANY CHRISTIAN 
HEAD OF SCHOOL 

It is with excitement and a thankful spirit 
that we, the Bethany Christian School 
Board, announce the hiring of Jonathan 
Hawes to be the Head of School beginning 
August 2022. 

After much prayer, ongoing interviews 
and observation, and thorough consideration, 
we are convinced Mr. Hawes is 
the candidate that best meets the needs 
of Bethany Christian School. In January, 
2022, Jonathan will become our full-time 
vice principal allowing enough time for a 
smooth transition after our current Head 
of School, Dr. Walner retires in June 2022. 

It is exciting to know we have God's 
choice for this special time in the life of 
our school. Jonathan is also a graduate of 
Bethany Christian School. He was a Bethany 
student through most of his elementary 
grades and all of his middle school years. 
He, his wife Amy and daughter Ella reside in Sierra Madre.

Two-year-old Marigold is affectionate, gentle, and lovesto be pet. She’ll rub against your legs and hands whenshe wants attention, and loves to be held. She even allows 
belly rubs! She’ll follow you from room to room to be nearyou, or cuddle up next to you while you watch a movie.
Marigold would be a wonderful companion for someonewho wants a little shadow in their life!

 The adoption fee for cats is $100. All cat adoptions includespay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.

 New adopters will receive a complimentary health-andwellness 
exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as agoody bag filled with information about how to care for 
your pet.

Kitten “CATRIONA” 

Catriona has a dramatic rescue 
story. Another adopter heard 
cries on her drive to work and 
little Catriona was hunkered 
down in a storm drain on the 
corner of a very busy intersection. 
Rescued at only 7 weeks 
old, she is a sweet little baby 

who has settled into her foster home quite nice-ly. She purrs 
as soon as you pet her or pick her up. She enjoys playing and 
watching TV. She will be spayed and vetted before delivery,
