THE 2024 DRINKING WATER 
QUALITY REPORT AVAILABLE

 
The Pasadena 2024 Consumer Confidence Report report, covering the 2023 calendar year, 
is now available online at PWPweb.com/CCR2024.

 According to Acting General Manager of Water and Power, David Reyes the department 
publishes a Consumer Confidence Report (“CCR”) on water quality every year, which is 
designed to inform the public about drinking water quality and provide updates on Pasadena’s 
water supply and infrastructure.

 Pasadena’s water supply has once again met all drinking water quality standards set by the 
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the State Water Resources Control Board, Division 
of Drinking Water.

 PWP tests its water daily. The majority of samples are analyzed by PWP’s own water quality 
laboratory. PWP tests over 100 constituents in the water and processes over 200 samples per 
week. Pasadena has had its own laboratory for nearly 70 years and is accredited by the state of 
California, which makes it possible to support its customers anytime, even during emergencies.
