The Friends of the Sierra Madre Library announce that their 

BEST USED BOOK SALE 

Friday, October 3, 2025 (3:00 - 7:00 p.m.) 

Saturday, October 4, 2025 (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

Featured this time will be a number of VINTAGE books. Look for Felix the Cat (1953), Rob 
Roy (1893) and Quo Vadis (1897) as well as a variety of other titles. We also will have some juvenile 
titles; Judy Bolton mysteries, Rick Brant Electronic Mysteries, Thornton Burgess books 
and some collectible uncut paper doll books. In addition, we have a big box of parent and 
teacher classroom resources from former teachers. Get your crafting start for the holidays 
with a collection of craft and art books too.

Our Bargain Books section will have a full cart for only $1.00 each, small paperbacks 5/$1.00, 
and CDs and DVDs just $1.00 too. Lots of jigsaw puzzles are available too!

Our $5.00 BAG SALE will take place on Saturday. This will be our Next-to-the Last Sale 
before we move back to the library. See you on the parking lot at 350 W. Sierra Madre Blvd. 

Our members look forward to seeing you at the sale and talking books!

used to support programs, services and acquisitions for the library.
