UPS DRIVER SAVES CHOKING 5 YEAR OLD

From the City of Sierra Madre

Last week 5 year old Sofia Ayala
was choking on a piece of hard
candy. Her mother desperately
tried to save her as Sofia's 8
year old and 3 year old sisters
watched in horror. UPS driver
Rachel Gonzales stepped in just
in time to perform the Heimlich
Maneuver and was successfully
able to dislodge the piece of candy.
Last night Mayor Rachelle
Pastor Arizmendi recognized
Ms. Gonzales with the Mayor's
Certificate of Recognition for
life-saving, heroic efforts.

Pictured here are Mayor Arizmendi,
