Free on-air publicity for local events 
Sierra Madre’s EMERGENCY radio station is now accepting scripts 
for Public Service Announcements (PSAs) about community events. 
PSAs will be broadcast on the air at no charge. The station operates 
24/7 and can be heard at 1630 on the AM dial. 
Any local non-profit or non-commercial organization can have 
their event information broadcast to the public on Sierra Madre 
Community Information Radio. The station covers the city of Sierra 
Madre, plus surrounding areas of Pasadena, Arcadia, and Monrovia. 
Your event must: 
• Benefit a non-commercial or non-profit entity 
• Be open to the public 
• Be of general interest to local citizens 
Just write a Public Service Announcement that describes your event 
and e-mail it to radio@cityofsierramadre.com.

During this time period, the Sierra Madre Police Department responded toapproximately 295 day and night time calls for service. 

Tuesday, October 3A residential burglary occurred in the 1900 block of Liliano Pl., at about 1:35 p.m.,
unknown suspect(s) shattered a sliding glass door pane using an unknown tooland entered the home. It appears that the master bedroom was the only roomransacked, and items were missing. Suspect(s) fled in an unknown direction. 
Case to Detectives 

Friday, October 6At about 1:30 p.m. officers were notified by a passerby in the 00 block of E. HighlandAve. that there was a gun inside a parked vehicle. Responding officers lookedthrough a window and saw the gun inside the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle 
came to the location and was asked about the weapon. The owner stated that the 
gun was not real, in fact it is an Air-Soft gun that resembles a real gun and it belongedto her son. The son arrived at the scene and admitted the gun was not real and didbelong to him. It was discovered during the investigation that the subject had twooutstanding warrants. The subject was arrested and transported to the PasadenaPD Jail and booked for both warrants.
