For the first time since 2019, spring in Sierra 
Madre was as it should be. The Wistaria Festival 
was held on Sunday, March 27th with a great turn 
out. Local businesses welcomed the guests who 
came to eat and shop and tourists visiting the city 
were able to take a shuttle ride a view Historic Si 
erra Madre. 
The Festival is presented by the Chamber of Com 
merce with the assistance this year from the Sierra 
Madre Historical Preservation Society orgaizingthe shuttle tour. 
This was the first festival without a tour of the 
Guiness Book of World Records Vine Viewing,
however, the Vine at City Hall presented a spectatular display of Wistaria blossoms for visitors to see.
