MONROVIA NEWS BRIEFS
REINSTATING NORMAL BILLING PROCESS FOR UTILITY BILLS
Beginning December 2024, the City of Monrovia will be reinstating normal billing processes that were
temporarily suspended due to a data loss event that occurred in March 2024. As part of this reinstatement,
late fees for delinquent payments and water shutoffs for non-payment will resume. Utility accounts that
have been paid in full with no outstanding balance will not be impacted. However, utility accounts with
past-due balances may be impacted.
To avoid service interruption, we encourage all residents to pay their outstanding utility bills promptly.
Payments can be made through the City’s website, electronically via your bank, or by phone using a credit
card or checking account.
An insert with more information will be included in the November utility bills. Additionally, if you have
any questions or need assistance with your accounts, or to discuss payment arrangements, please contact
the City at (626) 932-5517 or by email at watercustomersvs@monroviaca.gov.

ARCADIA NEWS BRIEFS
ARCADIA LAUNCHES TRANSIT SERVICE ASSESSMENT PROJECT AND
COMMUNITY SURVEY
The City of Arcadia’s Development Services Department has launched the Arca-dia Transit Service Assessment,
a comprehensive initiative aimed at evaluating and improving the City’s transit options, including
both the fixed-route service and the dial-a-ride program. This effort seeks to identify enhancements and
explore new services that better serve the needs of the community.
Starting today, a public survey is open to all residents—transit users and non-users alike—inviting feedback
on the City’s transit system. The survey focuses on key areas such as satisfaction with existing services, suggestions
for new services or improvements, and overall access and conven-ience. Residents can access the
survey, along with additional project details, online at Arcadia-CA.gov/TransitStudy. Versions of the survey
in Chinese and Spanish are also available upon re-quest or in person at City Hall. To request a translated
version of the survey, please contact the Transportation Services Division at (626) 574-5435 or by email at
ArcadiaTransit@ArcadiaCA.gov.
“We encourage everyone in the community to share their thoughts,” said Jason Kruckeberg, As-sistant City
Manager/Development Services Director. “Whether you’re a regular transit user or have ideas for service
improvements or changes of any kind, your input is critical in shaping a transit system that meets the needs
of Arcadia residents and visitors.”
The City urges all residents to participate, as this is a key opportunity to have a direct impact on the future
of Arcadia’s transit services.
For more information or to take the survey, visit ArcadiaCA.gov/TransitStudy.
