Nixon Alexander Saponara Age: 14 Graduating

from: St. Philip the Apostle Elementary School. 


An avid sportsman and outstanding student,
Nixon graduates with regional CYO recognition 
for his achievements in basketball, football, 
volleyball and soccer. ongratulations, Nixon, as 
you begin your exciting new chapter! 

Abagail Altruz 17 yrs old graduate of the California 
School of the Arts SGV. She is a 2024 Sierra Madre 
Rose Princess and a former student at Sierra Madre 

ElementaryandMiddleSchool.Nextyear,Abiplans

to major in Psychological and Brain Sciences at UC 
Santa Barbara. 


Milania Thomas, 18, graduating from Pasadena High 
School. A passionate sports fan, she excels in Water 
Polo and Softball. A 2026 Sierra Madre Rose Princess ,
her sights are set on entering Cal State Monterey this 

fall -the first step in her long range plans of studying

Kinesiology. 


Graduating this June from Arcadia High, "Young Russ" 
is already well along with his career. From a young age,
Russ has worked beside board members of our Softball 
and Little Leagues in maintaining the fine fields around 
town. While friends were warm in bed enjoy-ing last 
Winter's break, Russ ran heavy equipment through foul 
weather, almost single-handedly rebuilding the South 
Field at Sierra Madre elementary school. 

Through that same time, he has been grilling prime 
Taylors meats at the Heasley Field Diner Now on 

weekends, you can find Russ grilling downtown at 


Taylors Market. His connections and equipment skills 

have also won him an invitation to the field crew at 


SoFi Stadium. Long term, Russ wants to run ranchesand open restaurants himself, and he is already setting 
up those deals. It is comforting to know there is 
still a place in this world for good old hard work and a 
handshake. 

Nate Fulford 17 years old Pasadena High School 
Nate is a great Sierra Madre kid and soon to be 
a Pasadena High School graduate of 2026! Hehas an interest in the arts, engineering and cool 
old cars. At PHS he was involved in Visual Arts 
Media and Design (VADA), the Vice President 
of the Model A Car Club, and was on the Golf 
Team. Kindness, creativity, and resilience are 
part of Nate's character. Nate is graduating from 
a PHS Bulldog to a UC Santa Cruz Slug. Mom and 
Dad couldn't be prouder. Oh the places you'll 

go! Congrats NATE! 


Frances Pearl Farnam17 years old 
Graduating from California School of the Arts in 
San Gabriel Valley When she’s not busy tinkering 

on her EV restoration Porsche project she is

getting ready to attend Cornell University in the 

Fall majoring in Environmental Engineering
