Tuesday, November 24th
Sierra Madre Police responded to the 200 block of South Sunnyside Avenue
regarding a theft report. Upon arrival, the victim informed Officers that the
day before, she parked her vehicle in her driveway but could not recall if she
locked her doors or set the alarm. The following afternoon she walked out to her
vehicle and noticed the driver’s door was open. The victim inspected her vehicle
and discovered it had been ransacked and several items were missing. The
estimated total loss was valued at $950. There were no signs of forced entry and
Officers determined the suspect(s) entered the vehicle through the unlocked
driver’s door. This case has been forwarded to the Detective Bureau.
