rank in the top 12 best public middle schools in the LosAngeles area, as reported by 

According to the data used by Niche, there are over 300public middle schools in the Los Angeles area and over 
2,000 public middle schools across California, placingArcadia Unified’s middle schools in the top 1% of public 
middle schools in the state. In addition to a strongshowing on Niche’s 2018 Best Public Middle Schools 
lists, each Arcadia Unified middle school received topfive honors for Niche’s 2018 Best Public Middle School 
Teachers in the Los Angeles Area category.

ARCADIA – On Sunday, October 29, 2017, theCathy Women’s Association will host our Third AnnualScholarship Grant Ceremony to provide grants to studentsof low-income families in the surrounding communitiesin San Gabriel Valley. The ceremony will gather studentsand friends together, leaders from local elected officials,
donors, and women who care about their communities. 
This aim to promote the importance of education and torecognize the diligent efforts of the students in achievingacademic excellence. This event will also bring awarenessto our community to get involved as donors, participants,
or recipients and to foster caring and love of others.

The agenda for the day will include speech from delegatesand students, student music and art performances,
scholarship grant presentation, and group photography.

The ceremony will take place at the Cultural Center in ElMonte on Sunday, October 29 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
