SIERRA MADRE
COMMUNITY
BOOK DRIVE MARCH 2014

Rotary of Sierra Madre and Alverno High
School are combining their efforts to
educate through reading. They are having
a community wide book
drive. They are looking for
all different kinds of books
for all fields of education and
pleasure. Reading begins with
Moms and Dads reading to
their babies, friends referring
books they love, and making
reading a life long pleasure.
Everyday there is something
to learn. It is amazing how
much we don’t even realize we
don’t know. Books are a way
to find interest, educate, take
an adventure and learn how to
do something you have never
thought you could do or even
thought was possible. They are
also supplying books for some
retirement communities.

Schoolbooks (textbooks,

dictionaries, etc.), Children’s
books, Young Adult, Novels to be donated to communities in
need!
It is spring-cleaning time for the bookshelves.
All categories of books accepted.
