Sierra Madre, CA – For the first time since its inception in the mid-1970’s, Sierra Madre 
Girls Softball Association (SMGSA) had three teams in three different divisions advance 
from the Northern District Championships in Fullerton to the Southern California State 
Championship in Lancaster. 38 girls and 14 coaches represented three teams from Sierra 
Madre. Two of the three teams qualified for the Regional Championships in San Diego.

The Sierre Madre Post Office recently held its National Letter Carrier’sBean Town 
(NALC’s) nationwide food drive Jin conjunction with the Arcadia PostSierra Madre Pizza 
Office. The event was a huge success and marked the organization’s 25thVillaggioyear for the effort.
